We kicked off the Halloween weekend in grand style tonight- watching movies, carving pumpkins, and drinking deep red wine whilst telling spoooooky tales in the hottub. Linds and I knocked out the original Nightmare on Elm Street and got through most of Idle Hands (I watched Beetlejuice earlier in the evening).
My favorite part of the year, hands down, is the pumpkin carving. This is my first effort for this season. It's frikkin sweet.
Any suggestions for more? I'm not inspired to do anything particular this year like I was last year with Gourddy Lee, Shaun of the Dead, and the previous year with Pumpkinlas and GIR.
(I didn't get permission from Linds to post her pumpkin, but it is dirrrrty. OK, it is not really at all. )
Tomorrow I'm going out to see some spooky flicks and then working on my costume. I love Halloween!
Your mosaics are very nice, Leila, but WOW! Pumpkins may very well be your best medium. Mine may well be sausage balls(unfortunately I have no picture to share).
Excellent pumpkins!

Yeah that one is pretty sweet. It's...awesome. It's incredible. Oh, and don't forget "that we have reason to believe that something very strange is going on" Three cheers for Halloweeeen!
