We went to the Land of Oz festival up on Beech Mountain today. It's a closed theme park from the 70's that they open one weekend a year for Munchkenthusiasts. It was a good time, despite the completely awful almost-3-hour wait for the hayride to get to the Emerald City. It was pretty much worth it for this shot:

Cute. I forgot it opened once a year. It was the thing when I was in college to sneak in and steal a yellow brick. I think I mentioned that before. I'm old and repeat myself.
